Watching Black Hawk Down

Probably the most intense war movie ever -- it reminds me of the opening and final battles of Saving Private Ryan, except the whole movie is that way.

Interestingly no one has done a comprehensive wargame of this battle as far as I know.

  1. Lock'n'Load has a game on this incident.
A Day of Heroes. L'n'L series game with squares instead of hexes.

  2. Lock'n Load Publishing has published Lock 'n Load: A Day of Heroes - http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/25727/lock-n-load-a-day-of-heroes - and it covers exactly the battle depicted in Black Hawk Down

  3. Hi, I agree with you about the movie. It's one of the best war movies that I have ever seen. I don't known any wargame but I know some miniature wargames rules to play this conflict and others in the 20th and 21th centuries (Ambush Alley, Dogs of War, ...).
    Bye!
