No tour. I can't even really afford the game, but I pledged anyway, there's no way I could do something like the tour.
You make a good point about the tour, though. Even if I had the money, I don't think I'd want to pay for it through Kickstarter. There's insurance you can by for regular tours, but I doubt you could access that through Kickstarter. It may be a moot point, as no one has signed up for it.
If they're planning to be in Belgium then anyway, I expect they'll offer it more formally through other means. I would love to go. I went to Waterloo while I was stationed in Germany in the 1980s and it was great.
I just noticed they changed the tour reward. Now it's just $295 and is a DEPOSIT for the Tour, with the balance due in 2015. And I see quite a few people sighed up now. That seems like a much better deal -- I guess I have another month to figure out if it's at all doable.
Did you sign up for the tour? :^)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could pay for a tour two years in advance. The tour guide is not exactly young, and there are NO guarantees with Kickstarter!
